An inspiring example of positive leadership, simple personality, and a focus on national interest.

On 17.07.2026, the Bharatiya BSNL Officers' Association (BBOA), Haryana, met and welcomed the Chief General Manager (ITS) of Haryana Telecom Circle, Shri Suresh Kumar Ji.

For about an hour, in a very positive and cordial atmosphere, meaningful discussions were held on BSNL's growth, the welfare of officers, better work culture, and administrative reforms. In addition, the promotion of AO to CAO of the 2012 batch was also discussed with the Hon'ble General Manager (Finance), Shri Inderjit Singh Ji of Ambala. Shri Inderjit Ji took a positive stance and assured that a solution would be found soon.

Shri Suresh Kumar Ji personally introduced himself to all the officers present, patiently listened to their problems and suggestions, and assured positive and solution-oriented action on the relevant issues. Specifically regarding the posting of two officers from Karnal in remote districts of Punjab Telecom Circle, he spoke with the Chief General Manager of Punjab and assured that efforts would be made to post them as close to Haryana as possible.

The meeting was attended by BBOA Chairman and former General Secretary Shri Rajendra Singh Tusir, along with Vice President Shri Vijay Dahiya, Circle Secretary Shri Kirti Kumar, Circle President Shri Sanjay Sharma, Shri Vikas Thareja, Shri Pradeep, Shri Manoj Saini, Shri Mandeep, Shri Havinder, Shri Dharmbir Sharma, Shri Virender Balhotra, Shri Pawan, and other colleagues.

BBOA Haryana expressed gratitude to the Hon'ble Chief General Manager and expressed confidence that through dialogue, transparency, positive thinking, and a spirit of national interest, BSNL will become even stronger and more progressive.

By the grace of the Almighty, I consider myself truly fortunate to have had the privilege of interacting with you on several important matters concerning DoT, MTNL, and BSNL during your tenure as Director (HR), BSNL. Those interactions remain among the most valuable experiences of my professional life.

Coincidentally, your tenure as Director (HR), BSNL commenced around July 2015, the very period when the Bharatiya BSNL Officers Association (BBOA) was established. As the Founder General Secretary of BBOA, I had the privilege of placing before you, from time to time, several important issues concerning the welfare of BSNL officers. I was deeply encouraged by your positive approach, valuable guidance, and unwavering support in addressing those matters.

Throughout our interactions, I witnessed your steadfast commitment to fairness, integrity, transparency, compassion, and strict adherence to rules. You listened patiently to every issue with an open mind, without prejudice, and consistently encouraged decisions based on merit, justice, and the larger organizational interest.

Your dignified leadership inspired confidence among officers across the organization. On the auspicious occasion of the 11th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya BSNL Officers Association (BBOA), I fondly remember your invaluable encouragement and support extended to our Association during its formative years. On behalf of the entire BBOA family, I convey our heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation for your guidance, goodwill, and cooperation, which will always remain a cherished part of BBOA's journey.

🙏 श्रद्धांजलि एवं आभार संदेश 🙏

हमारे परम मित्र स्वर्गीय श्री नरेश चौधरी (चहल) जी का अल्पायु में निधन समाज एवं उनके सभी शुभचिंतकों के लिए अत्यंत दुखद एवं अपूरणीय क्षति है। उन्होंने समाजहित में अनेक कार्य करने का संकल्प लिया था, जिन्हें पूरा करने का अवसर उन्हें नहीं मिल सका।

माता लक्ष्मी का मंदिर भी उनकी निस्वार्थ सेवा को सदैव स्मरण करेगा, जहाँ वे प्रतिदिन 2-3 घंटे श्रद्धा एवं समर्पण भाव से सेवा कार्य में लगे रहते थे।

माननीय Narendra Modi द्वारा उनकी धर्मपत्नी श्रीमती मंजू चहल जी के प्रति व्यक्त की गई संवेदना एवं सांत्वना परिवार के लिए कठिन समय में संबल का कार्य करेगी। समाज की ओर से हम माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी का हृदय से आभार व्यक्त करते हैं कि उन्होंने इस दुःखद घड़ी में परिवार का मनोबल बढ़ाने का प्रयास किया।

Submission to the 8th Central Pay Commission

15 June 2026 is the last date for submitting suggestions and representations to the 8th Central Pay Commission. It was an important opportunity for employees and officers whose long-pending concerns and expectations await resolution.

The Bharatiya BSNL Officers Association (BBOA), a nationalist ideology-based organization, is pleased to have represented not only its members but also thousands of employees and officers by submitting two important welfare-oriented issues before the Commission.

We are confident that the Hon'ble Commission will give due consideration to these matters and make fair and positive recommendations in the interest of employees and officers, addressing long-pending service, pay, and pension-related concerns.
